Malam Seni Budaya Warisan (MSBW)
MSBW is the second drama and theater competition that I enter so far. The theater and drama competition was held on 12.11.2014. This time I'm playing the role of Datuk Bendahara. Oh right, I forgot about the tittle, silly me. It's the legendary Puteri Gunung Ledang. I know... cliche right? But yeah that's our story line. It took us 2 extremely exhausted week for us to practices our lines, roles,our workmanship, and everything to make it the best of the best. During those 2 weeks, I admit I didn't give it my best because of the fever and flu that drastically came to me. I was constantly weak all the time. I wanted to rest but I can't miss our practices. I don't want to waste my friends effort for they put their heart and souls into it while I just gave a half arse. NO! That's not my style. My character was change many times okay 2 times only. At first I was Tun Mamat but the higher ups decided to change because it's not appropriate for a girl to propose to the Ledang princess later on in the story line so I become Datuk Bendahara. Yet another challenge has come, for I need to remember Adib's line while he remembers mine. Argh last minutes changes are the worst butapparently everything went smoothly even though everyone was a bit unhealthy a day before the competition.
On the day of the competition, we were as nervous as hell. We had to wear our clothes and makeup and walk all the way from the college to the FSGK. Man that's far and hard. My makeup wear constantly melting and fading due to the heat and sweats. When I arrived, get what I did first. Yup, I ate hahaha man it was awesome. It was even more surprising and awesome when I met my cousin. She was in the BRC drama and theater. She's not an actor but a technician so that's why I didn't see herduring the Cempaka Open Day and The TAZ Open day. Yeahhh family reunion for a while hahaha mom I did met shikin alright hhaha. They were a lot of PROBLEMS! The lighting and the setting and the trip over the wire and the backstage crew and the bla bla bla. God it was horrible but we mange it and all.
Puteri Gunung Ledang tolak Sultan Mahmud dan Hang Tuah sebab jeng jeng jeng ada scandal dengan Datuk Bendahara kauuu gituuuuu hahahahaha. This is my favourite picture of me and Mufi, the Mount Ledang Princess. We took pictures after know that we're in the top 3 haha. We were so happy because finally we're in the top 3 even though there were many technical problems, Arghh poor management *middle finger* and the best thing ever is that I found a shooting star as we were heading back to the college. A freaking shooting star and I think that luck is on our side. Later on we found out that we got number 3 in the competition. Alhamdulillah, praise to Allah. All our hard works are paid off. All that sleepless night and tired morning. It's couldn't get any better.
